EC-121T Super Constellation S/N 55-121
The Incident:
EC-121 was taxying to runway when left landing gear collapsed and wing hitting ground rupturing left wing fuel tank. Fire broke out and the crew abandoned the aircraft. Aircraft damaged beyond repair.
The Crew:
Capt. James T Webb. Crew and 16 passengers survived.
